Vice President of IT/Chief Information Officer (VP/CIO)

Ken Ihrer was appointed Vice President of Operations in December 2018, prior to serving as Chief Information Officer since 2015.  Mr. Ihrer has 15 years of higher education executive leadership experience and is responsible for campus technology, including systems and network infrastructure, classroom technology, front line services, information security and student technology labs.  He is also responsible for campus planning, facilities and environmental health & occupational safety, where he oversees the College’s 36-acre campus and 13 buildings.  Mr. Ihrer has College oversight of over 40 capital projects with funding at over $300 million.  He serves as a board member of the College’s Auxiliary Enterprise Corporation, as co-chair of the Student Technology Fee, co-chair of the Space Planning committee and as a member of the president’s cabinet.
Mr. Ihrer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Ethics from Dallas Christian College, and a Master of Business Administration degree, with a concentration in Finance, from Temple University.
