Intensive Test Review Sessions

These Test Review sessions are specifically designed to prepare students for the Educating All Student (EAS), the CST: Multi-subject - Part 1 (Literacy and ELA) and CST: Multi-subject - Part II (Mathematics) for Early Childhood Education certification tests. The sessions are both intensive and individualized. The intensive sessions will review the content material covered by the performance indicators of the two tests mentioned above. Students will be able to identify specific content areas they need to review and focus on developing their knowledge and skills in those areas in the review sessions. In addition, students who need individualized help will be provided assistance to develop their comfort level with the content material.
Participants in the review sessions will utilize a diagnostic tool to identify the specific study skills and strategies that are required for them to be successful on the tests. They would then utilize a prescribed set of activities to strengthen and develop the requisite skills they need. These test review sessions are designed to address the various areas of knowledge, skills and attitudes students need to be successful on the tests. Students can best prepare themselves for the review sessions by becoming familiar with the relevant test performance indicators and test exemplars for their particular workshop they plan to attend.
