Novelist Zadie Smith wins CCNY's Langston Hughes Medal

WHAT: Zadie Smith, the award-winning British-born novelist, is the recipient of The City College of New York’s Langston Hughes Medal. The presentation ceremony will be preceded by a symposium on her work, featuring scholars and writers. Jacqueline Woodson, renowned author and 2015 Langston Hughes Medalist, will make the presentation to Smith.
