President Boudreau’s 2024 “City In…” series begins on Jan. 21 in the Southwest

President Vince Boudreau will resume his visits to regional City College of New York alumni and friends on Jan. 21, starting in Austin, Tex.

The president’s “City In…” tours, which began in 2022, have already taken him to Austin, Tex., Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New Orleans and Washington. Along the way, he met with hundreds of alumni across the country to brief them on the College’s achievements in recent years. The briefings also included an exclusive update on the $1 billion, 10-year “Doing Remarkable Things Together” campaign that was announced in May 2022 to kick off the College’s 175th anniversary year.

In addition to Austin, the president will visit alumni in Dallas (Jan. 23), Houston (Jan. 24), New Orleans (Jan. 25), Los Angeles (Jan. 31) and San Francisco (Feb. 2).

“There are tens of thousands of City College alumni around the world who have taken their CCNY education and have gone on to do remarkable things in their lives,” said President Boudreau. “These tours, which have become an annual tradition, give me opportunities to engage our worldwide alumni base and to strengthen their bonds with the College as we look ahead to the next 175 years.”

“I am always seeking ways to listen to and learn from these alumni and friends of the college,” he continued. “These visits allow me to do this.”

The hundreds of alumni who have attended these events represent class years that span the decades. On one visit, President Boudreau was delighted to meet a member of the Class of 1951.
