Córdoba is one of the great Latin American cities and Argentina's second-largest, known for its rich history, vibrant culture, and legendary student life. Home to one of the oldest universities in Latin America, founded in 1613, the city has long been a hub of intellectual energy and progressive thought. Argentina is a very cosmopolitan and multicultural country, and Córdoba embodies this with its own unique character — from the lively rhythms of cuarteto music to its stunning Jesuit Block, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Studying in Córdoba allows you to immerse yourself in a new culture and cuisine while enhancing your language skills. Students will be exposed to the broader regional and transnational Latin American culture of the 21st century, all while experiencing the warmth and energy of one of Argentina's most beloved cities.

Courses

UPC offers a variety of courses in the Spanish language and electives taught in English. Choose three to six credits from the list below:

  • Human Rights 
  • Politics of Arts 
  • Revolutionary Women in Latin America 
  • Spanish as a Second Language

You must apply and register through the CCNY Study Abroad Office. Online registration will not be available. Participants will transfer the credits from UPC. The course and credit will appear on your transcript.

  • Deadline for payment of Program costs and CUNY - Tuition: May 1st, 2026

Costs
  • Application Fee: $300
  • CCNY Tuition: 3 - 6 Credits ($305 or higher per credit) 
  • *Program Fees: $1,650
  • Airfare: $1,200 (Estimated)

*Program cost includes homestays/ housing, 2 meals a day, and excursions. Airfare is not included. 

*Study Abroad credits will be posted 8 to 12 weeks after completing the program, as long as all financial obligations are met both at CCNY and at the partner institution abroad.
