Arab Student Aid International (ASAI)

The Executive Committee of ASAI has approved scholarship interest-free loans for Arab students to pursue their higher education in the U.S., Europe and other countries for the academic year 2009/2010 so that they can play a dynamic role in the social, cultural and economic development of their homelands. The scholarship loans range from $1,000 to $5,000 per academic year, to partially cover the tuition, room and board expenses provided that candidates met all the requirements before applying.
 

Asian Cultural Council

Fellowships available for Asian artists, scholars, and specialists to conduct research, study, receive specialized training, or pursue creative activity in the United States. Some grants are also made to Americans pursuing similar activities in Asia and to educational and cultural institutions engaged in projects of special significance to Asian-American exchange.

P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship for Women

Believing that education is fundamental to world peace and understanding, members of the P.E.O. Sisterhood provide grants-in-aid for selected women from other countries for graduate study in the United States or Canada. The maximum grant awarded to a student is $5,000 annually. Recipients may re-apply and receive the scholarship for a maximum of three years.
 
ELIGIBILITY: An applicant must be qualified for admission to full-time graduate study, working towards a graduate degree in the college or university of her choice in the United States or Canada.
