A graduate of The Bronx High School of Science, Jared Heron is majoring in English with the intention of pursuing a Ph.D. in the field. His current research interest focuses on finding the hidden "voices" of LGBT+ individuals in early modern literature. He also wants to pursue literary studies involving other marginalized groups and explore the social dynamics between different groupings of people. On the more creative side, he enjoys writing fiction and scripts, among other forms of storytelling.
