Conor McGlone found his way to Sunnyside, Queens by way of Falls Village, Connecticut. He initially left school to make music, but after a year, enrolled in CCNY to study English. Here he finds fulfillment similar to that which he sought through the drums, in the rhythmic, melodious grip of good word-work and imagery. From this sprouts a spectrum of interests, presently trumped by his curiosity about the possibilities of cross-media supplements to literature analysis.   He is eager to explore how visual and sonic arts echo the literature of various cultural movements. What do different forms of media, when examined  together, imply about the colors of an era's thought? To what extent do the evolutions and representative characteristics of specific media bleed into and influence different modes of expression?  Conor is working these questions into an intensive study of romanticism and the Romantic Wo/Man: to discuss health and the distance between delusion and fantastic genius.
