Kevin Foster is new Colin Powell School Interim Dean

Kevin R. Foster is the Interim Dean of the Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership. His appointment follows the naming of the School’s dean, Vincent Boudreau, as Interim President of The City College of New York.

An Associate Professor, Foster has served as chair of the Colin Powell School’s department of Economics and Business, where he has taught since joining City College in 1998. He’s a graduate of Bard College (B.A. economics) and Yale University (M.A., M.Phil., Ph.D.).

In 2010, Foster was visiting faculty at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology. He has served as an advisor to start-ups and private equity investment companies.
