Direct Deposit

Direct Deposit Form (Tax Levy Employees)
Effective 1/1/2023, all newly hired New York State employees are required to submit a direct deposit form (AC2772).  Pursuant to State Finance Law §200 (4)(a)(ii)employees who wish to opt out of being paid by direct deposit can request an exemption by completing Section B of the form.    If you do not have Direct Deposit, paychecks will be mailed from the Office of the State Comptroller (OSC) to the address you have on file with CCNY.

Direct Deposit Fraud Alert Bulletin: Due to several direct deposit diversion attempts and security concerns, CUNY has changed its policy in regards to the receiving and handling of its direct deposit submissions.  City College’s direct deposit procedure has changed to the following:

Direct deposit forms along with voided check, or bank direct deposit authorization letters can be submitted in person at Baskerville Hall room 301, or they may be submitted using the CCNY Secure File Transfer System https://securetransfer.ccny.cuny.edu/. Employees can log in using their CCNY employee email credentials to Payrollservices@ccny.cuny.edu . Direct deposit forms that are submitted with a personal or any other email address will not be accepted and automatically deleted due to security concerns.

When submitting your direct deposit form you must include a government issued identification (ex: Passport, Drivers License, etc.).  Direct deposit forms that do not include a government issued identification will not be submitted to CUNY University Payroll.

If submitting the direct deposit form in person, you must show your City College ID or a government issue ID.

Please note that Payroll Services will verify the information you include on the form (name, phone number, home address, last 4 of SSN, etc.).  Please be sure to include your full legal name (no preferred names), your phone number, and address that is in CUNYfirst.  All information must match Payroll Services' records.
