Explanation: The proposed tuition at The CUNY School of Medicine for Full-time resident students is $20,800.00 per semester ($41,600.00 per year), and the proposed tuition for Full-time non-resident students is $34,630.00 per semester ($69,260.00 per year). The program is for Full-time students only; therefore, no Part-time tuition rate is provided. This tuition rate is the same as the rate charged by the State University of New York (SUNY Downstate) system for its medical school.
The entire tuition will be retained by The CUNY School of Medicine to fund direct costs of the degree program, including increased staffing to strengthen services to students and to meet the technical needs of the program.
