The Well Played lecture series is a highly interactive opportunity for students to hear from people who think hard about games, to understand them in a new way. Come learn something new about the gaming world around you. While it is intended for NYC high school and CCNY college students the public is welcome.

Topics and speakers at the May 11, 2022 Well Played lecture include:

  • Esports: From Madison Square Garden to World Peace” with Asi Burak. He is Chairman, Games for Change; Chief Business Officer, Tilting Point, 
  • Raven Gomez is the Director of Community Outreach and Development at LaGuardia Community College and pursuing her Master's degree in Digital Humanities at CUNY’s Graduate Center. 
  • Women Gamers Comming within a Toxic Community: Threats and Opportunities” with Jessie Su. Jessie is a Junior at CCNY studying computer science. She played League of Legend competitively for CCNY and is now ranking-up in Valorant. RSVP if you plan to attend in person.  Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination required for attendance.
