Ainissa Ramirez, engineer and science communicator, will meet with students to discuss her book, The Alchemy of Us. This book explains how basic inventions and innovations helped shape our culture and who we are as humans. Ramirez highlights the contributions of people of color and women who had significant impacts, but whose accomplishments have not been as broadly discussed.
