Tren'ness Woods-Black

Founder | Tren'ness Woods-Black LLC

Tren’ness Woods-Black is President and Chief Strategist of Tren’ness Woods-Black, LLC; Passion for People; and Poised for Press. She serves as VP of Communications for the historic family business and Soul Food icon Sylvia's Restaurant.

Tren'ness work includes projects for the National Action Network and brokered marketing deals with Target, Splenda, Starbucks, Whirlpool, NYC Hospitality Alliance, and Harlem Park to Park. Her philanthropic efforts have raised over one hundred thousand dollars for scholarships. Tren’ness has served as a spokesperson for the American Heart Association and serves on the Board of Directors for NYC & Company, NYC Hospitality Alliance and Harlem Park to Park.

Berto Calkins
Content Creator & Entrepreneur

Berto Calkins is a NYC based content creator. Berto holds a B.A in Communications (Advertising/ Public Relations) from The City College of New York. He is also a Certified Personal Trainer, Fitness Nutrition Specialist & eCornell Plant-Based Nutrition Certified. His mission is to make people aware of controllable influences on their lives, so that they can make decisions that better themselves and the world.

Yana Kucheva
Professor, Department of Sociology
The Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership at CCNY

Yana Kucheva is Assistant Professor in the Sociology Department of The City College of New York. Previously, Kucheva was a postdoctoral scholar at the Center on Poverty and Inequality at Stanford University. She received my Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of California - Los Angeles.

Prof. Kucheva's research focuses on the relationships between social policy, social stratification, neighborhood inequality, and the wellbeing of families and children. She has pursued two lines of inquiry: one that examines the relationship between neighborhood segregation, subsidized housing, and fair housing laws and one that examines the relationship between housing policy, household formation, and the transition to adulthood.

Nausher Khan​
Director of Business Partnerships | RedRabbit

Nausher Khan is the Director of Business and Strategic Partnerships at Red Rabbit. He manages the expansion of the organization into new territories with mission aligned partners. Prior to joining Red Rabbit, he founded an artificial intelligence company focusing on child nutrition management in West Africa. Nausher's global experience in social development ranges from education, financial inclusion, youth and media development to food and nutritional security.

Nausher holds a Masters degree in Public Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelors of Arts from York University. His impact is centered on ensuring that every single child has access to sufficient and nutritious food and never has to attend class on an empty stomach.
