Dear Campus Community,
I write to share that Dr. Sherri Rings has decided to step down from the Directorship of the SEEK Program, a position she has held since 2018. Dr. Rings will remain a part of SEEK as Associate Professor-Counselor. Throughout her time as director, she has worked to empower the faculty, staff, and students of SEEK to provide opportunity and support.
Please join me in thanking Sherri for her years of service as Director and in wishing her rewarding years continuing in SEEK in service to students.
I’d also like to take this opportunity to welcome Interim SEEK Director, Dr. Carey Manifold. With over fifteen years of progressively responsible experience in higher education, she holds an EdD in Educational Leadership and Management, along with graduate degrees from Teachers College, Columbia University and Baruch College.
Dr. Manifold’s first day as Interim SEEK Director will be June 1, 2026. I hope you will join me in welcoming her to the CCNY campus and to the SEEK Department while a formal nationwide search for a permanent Director will be launched.
