  1. Review of November 17 Minutes
    • No changes required, minutes were approved
  2. Presentation on Middle States
    • Co-chairs Mary Ruth and Kathlene provided an update on the Middle States process via a PowerPoint presentation.  A copy of the slide deck is attached for reference.
  3. Presentation on RACI Framework
    • Dean Couzis gave a PowerPoint presentation titled AI-Informed Four-Semester Scheduling for Student Learning at CUNY.
    • Highlights included:
      • How do we utilize winter and summer semesters?
      • Can we position this tool to work with Navigate.
      • Curriculum sheets (degree map) are critical to this process.
      • Existing data – admissions profiles (high school info, grades, math, science, units, AP courses, ACT or SAT, GPA, how many withdrawals do they have, etc.)
      • How to get data on why a student withdraw (having the Advisor ask those questions and putting it in Navigate, or the withdrawal forms will help to gather this data)If a student can withdraw without meeting an Advisor, they need to gather the data in another format.
      • Looking at sections that are underenrolled, etc.
      • Dean Couzis noted to re-reference the 3 documents that were previously sent to the Cabinet, have been included with the meeting minutes again for reference.
  4. President’s Announcements
    • President Boudreau provided an update on the Incident in Student Affairs regarding the Interfaith Dialogue (the incident has gone public, and the Department of Justice is opening up an investigation).
    • Reminder to complete the Title VI Training 2025-2026 which has been loaded on Brightspace along with the other required training.

Other

  • The President shared slides from the last COPs meeting and provided an update.  A copy of the slide deck is included for reference.
  • COO Gurba provided an update/overview on facilities projects regarding upcoming assessments of space on campus.
  • At the next Cabinet meeting, President Boudreau requested an update from AVP Nwosu-Stewart and Provost Liss on their projects as well as an update on assessment from Doris.
