- Review of December 1st Minutes
- No changes required, minutes were approved
- President’s Announcements
- Campus Climate – Additional public safety personnel on shifts in response to incidents at Brown University and Bondi Beach. People are starting to feel the economic pinch, stress associated with the holidays.
- How will a lockdown be handled at CCNY – will be managed through CUNY (internally, will receive communication from Anthony Laperuta – operational side, Provost contact Deans, then Cabinet, campus-wide communication – CUNY Alert will go through Public Safety)
- COPs meeting – resolution SAT option, is up for review, by the end of the spring semester, there will be a need for a new resolution.
- The next cabinet will be 1/12/26.
- President Boudreau gave a presentation on the 2025 PMP SAR Feedback. A copy was also provided. Focused specifically on goal #2. How we integrate wellness programs.
- Things that are being looked at is class fill rates
- Will do a presentation later on regarding the initiatives
- Distinguished Professor Process
- Need to look at a better process instead of self-nomination. Once a candidate is selected by the College it then goes down to CUNY.
- Sophie Davis Program Update
- As noted by Provost Liss, this remains an undergraduate program at CCNY, nothing has changed with the Medical School separation. Negotiations are underway regarding how to move forward with the Sophie Davis program. The Medical School requested for co-Directorship with one person representing CCNY and the other person from the Medical School (at CCNY it will be Doris Cintron, and at the Medical School it will be Dan Richter).
- Navigate Update
- AVP Nwosu-Stewart gave a Presentation highlighting usage of EAB Navigate around campus, including:
- The goal to have a Chief Academic Advisor starting in 2026
- Target ratio of 300 students to 1 advisor
- Review of success metrics
- Prompts, campaigns, and verbiage (configuration) to be aligned with what our students need. Training will also be provided on the different dashboards
- How advisors will be assigned – looking into every division and school, working through to assess what will work
- Where do we get the work of identifying the red flags – at configuration (GPA, poor performance, etc.)
- Is there a process to refer students (feedback mechanism) – have more referral of students to these support services
- AVP Nwosu-Stewart gave a Presentation highlighting usage of EAB Navigate around campus, including:
- Leadership Development Process presentation
- Scott gave a presentation entitled Team Building Leadership Development Coaching – engaging in exercises on working together for efficiently (opportunity)
Other
- Jewish holiday celebration, Menorah lighting at 5 p.m. (try to stop by).
- Reminder to send students or anyone experiencing food insecurity to go to Benny’s Food Pantry.
