100 Degrees and Counting

In commemoration of having awarded our 100th master's degree last May, the staff and faculty decided to offer a glimpse of how far the MPA program has come. The results are summarized in the figure to the right.

From a rocky start, together we have created a program that boasts graduates who work at the White House, the Governor's Office of Storm Recovery, the Rockefeller Foundation, the Harlem Children's Zone, and the City University of New York. They support public service ranging from health and education, to law enforcement and transportation. It took a great deal of help to get to where the program is today.

With generous support from the Charles B. Rangel Center for Public Service, students have received internship stipends, scholarships, career guidance, events and other programs that develop their skills as public servants.

On behalf of all of us here at the MPA program, many thanks.
