Repurpose, Research, Reach is a 90-minute interactive workshop for nonfiction filmmakers looking to expand their funding opportunities and audience impact with the help of AI. Together, we’ll explore how to repurpose content for marketing, use AI research tools like Perplexity to identify aligned funders and organizations, and develop strategies to reach more supporters. During the session, participants will gain hands-on practice with AI-powered research, and after completing a short survey, they’ll receive a bonus resource to continue applying what they’ve learned.

You will receive a link to this zoom session with your RSVP.

Presented by the Documentary Forum at CCNY and Third World Newsreel.

Laila Harrison is a filmmaker based in Atlanta, dedicated to exploring the theme of transformation and its impact on individuals. Her primary goal is to capture stories that provoke introspection and inspire audiences to reflect on their own experiences. She has been working with AI for several years, and will be sharing her experiences, lessons and cautions.
