CCNY COUNSELING TRAINING PROGRAMS
*All trainees must be able to commit to an orientation to the CCNY Counseling Center* 

Psychology Fellowship

For CUNY fellows in the doctoral program in clinical psychology

September, 2016 – May, 2017
•    10 hours orientation in August, 2016
•    15 hours weekly
•    2.5 hours weekly supervision (1.5 group, 1 individual) + .5 hours weekly clinical staff meeting
•    Some evening hours may be required
•    Must be available Thursdays 10 am -12 pm for group supervision and staff meeting
•    Responsibilities include but are not limited to intakes, brief counseling, crisis intervention, outreach, leading workshops for students and faculty, therapeutic case management, with possibilities for group counseling, supervision of other counseling trainees and research.

Psychology Externship

For students obtaining their PhDs/PsyDs in clinical or counseling psychology

August, 2016 – August, 2017
Applications accepted on a rolling basis 1/19/16 – 2/19/16
•    10 hour orientation in August, 2016
•    16 hours weekly
