Congratulations

HISTORY DEPARTMENT 2019 GRADUATES ENTERING GRADUATE SCHOOL:

**Nabila Akthar, a BA/MA student, will enter Princeton’s Ph.D. program in history in the fall. (She was also accepted at Columbia, the University of Pennsylvania, and Yale.) 

**Josiah Agustin Mendez, a BA student with a double major in history and architecture, was accepted to U.C. Davis’s Ph.D. program in history. 

**Deena Ecker and David Pultz, MA students, will enter the CUNY Graduate Center’s Ph.D. program in the fall, representing two-fifths of the Americanists in the entering class. 

** Ivana Lazaroska, a double major in history and political science, will attend Vanderbilt’s Ph.D. program in history in the fall.
