Evaluation and Testing

The Office of Evaluation and Testing is responsible for administering and recording the results of the CUNY Assessment Tests (CATs), Ability to Benefit (ATB) Test, and implementing the City University's testing regulations and procedures. We are committed to provide a supportive, outstanding, and friendly environment with excellent service while maintaining, implementing, and monitoring the integrity of the City University's testing policies.

Testing Arrangement

Accommodations based on disabilities will be granted to comply with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

  • Students must be registered with the AccessAbility Center (AAC), which will certify eligibility and coordinate accommodations with the Office of Evaluation and Testing.
  • Accommodations generally include, but are not limited to, extended time, technological support, and/or services of appropriate support personnel such as readers, scribes, and interpreters.
  • Students who wish to request such accommodations should contact the AccessAbility Center (AAC) located in the North Academic Center (NAC Building), Room 1/218, or call (212) 650-5913.
