Step 7 - Complete any required testing
Due to the Corona Virus, we are unable to offer any in-person testing. All incoming freshman students will be provided with a math placement based on their high school academic record. This placement will determine the appropriate math level at City College, and with the exception of engineering applicants, will not prevent entry into the intended major. Math placement information will be provided during the academic advisement process.
For more information, please consult the Office of Evaluation and Testing website (https://www.ccny.cuny.edu/testing)
Step 8 - Prepare for advisement and registration
You will be notified by e-mail when the advisement appointments become available. However, you must complete all of the previous steps in order to meet with an advisor and enroll in courses.
