  • The EFC on your FAFSA Student Aid Report is $3,000 or less.

Step 5 - Submit your immunization records

If your immunization is not already satisfied on CUNYfirst then you must submit a completed Immunization Form along with your immunization records to our Student Health Services office.

Step 6 - Submit Advanced Placement coursework for evaluation

If you took Advanced Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB) examinations, military training or service, or earned college credit while in high school, then you may be entitled to transfer credit. To receive a transfer credit evaluation you must mail an official AP/IB score report, JST transcript and/or a non-CUNY official college transcript* to:

The City College of New York
Transfer Evaluation Services
Wille Administration Building, Room A-101
160 Convent Ave. New York, NY 10031

*If your college coursework was completed at a CUNY school, simply notify Transfer Evaluation Services by e-mail ( admissions@ccny.cuny.edu ) identifying the CUNY school that you attended.

Step 7 - Complete any required testing

Due to the Corona Virus, we are unable to offer any in-person testing. All incoming freshman students will be provided with a math placement based on their high school academic record. This placement will determine the appropriate math level at City College, and with the exception of engineering applicants, will not prevent entry into the intended major. Math placement information will be provided during the academic advisement process.

For more information, please consult the Office of Evaluation and Testing website (https://www.ccny.cuny.edu/testing)

Step 8 - Prepare for advisement and registration

You will be notified by e-mail when the advisement appointments become available. However, you must complete all of the previous steps in order to meet with an advisor and enroll in courses.
