Please join us on Thursday February 1, 2024 for our in-person celebration of Colson Whitehead on the campus of The City College of New York: our evening ceremony will take place from 6pm-8pm in Aaron Davis Hall. We will have opening remarks from members of our administration, followed by a welcome from our master-of-ceremonies Dr. Jervette Ward; musical performances by the Ariel Reign, Memphis Music Ambassador; a reading by our honoree; the presentation of the Langston Hughes Festival medal by the President of the Langston Hughes Society; and a book signing.
