Scholarships and Awards

Scholarships for the Spring 2026 Semester are now available!  

The Economics and Business Department is now offering scholarships through Academic Works, a new system designed to make finding and applying for funding easier than ever. 

Applications are due by March 16, 2026.  

Students are encouraged to apply for 2-3 scholarships based on eligibility. 

1. To claim your account, log in using your CUNYFirst credentials at ccny.academicworks.com. Step by step instructions are available here.

2. Complete the General Application

3. Select recommended on the opportunities tab then click show filters and select “Economics and Business” under scopes and apply to the relevant scholarships that appear.
