Headed to Albany with a $15,000 Paid Internship

Steven Molinari, a current MPA student, won a competitive paid internship as a policy analyst in the State Assembly. He will spend his final spring semester working to make state education policy more inclusive of people with disabilities, while gaining an insider's view of state policymaking and participating in a semester-long policy seminar. Before applying, Steven gained experience as an intern at the National Disability Rights Network in Washington, DC and at the NYC Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities, with scholarship and housing support from the Charles B. Rangel Center for Public Service, which supports MPA students. "The MPA program has supported me along the way and trained me in practical skills I use on the job," said Steven.
