Students at the White House: Criminal Justice Reform

MPA students Abubakar Usman (far left) and Asshur Cunningham (far right) helped coordinate a White House briefing on criminal justice and disability reform as part of their summer internships in Washington, DC.  Both are interning with the National Disability Rights Network, an organization in Washington that advocates on behalf of the rights of the disabled. Students received stipends and housing support while interning in the US capitol.

MPA student support programs, including internships, scholarships, and career development, are generously funded by the Charles B. Rangel Center for Public Service.
