Wins Historian

Profile

Ramisha (she/her) is CCNY WInS’s Historian. She is a rising fourth-year student attending CCNY, majoring in Biochemistry and minoring in Sociology. Her passions lie in both the physical and life sciences, as well as the social sciences, and to be able to use both areas of knowledge to give back to her community. Her passion for joining WInS stemmed from the goal in advocating for more equitable opportunities for women within fields of science they may be under-represented in, and that this organization provides a welcoming space for not just women, but everyone interested in joining WInS’s mission, to be heard and supported. Outside of WInS, Ramisha also actively serves in the CCNY Community as a Dept. of Chemistry Leader in the Division of Science Student Council, as well as CCNY’s Chapter President of Alpha Epsilon Delta, a national organization devoted to support for students in pursuit of a professional healthcare career, through service that seeks to benefit the larger CCNY community.
