Wins Social Media Coordinator

Genesis Vera is an undergraduate student at the City College of New York. Genesis is the Social Media Coordinator in CCNY Woman in Science. She is also a member of the CCAPP Advisory Board. Genesis is a first-generation latina college student. She transitioned into her college journey at CCNY with the guidance of faculty, staff and students of The Percy Ellis Sutton SEEK Program. Genesis is an aspiring physician. She currently works at a Dermatology clinic to gain clinical and first hand medical experience. In her free time, she loves trying different cuisines with her family and friends. She enjoys playing the piano and gets excited when she partakes in softball games.
