ABOUT THE CONVERSATION:

Dr. Saawadi and President Boudreau will discuss the Manhattan District Attorney’s alliance with the NYC government, industry and universities to tackle issues linked to cybersecurity including strategy, policy, development, training and awareness.

This newly-formed alliance is the Manhattan DA's main cybersecurity defense strategy, which resulted from a collective realization that in order to create a strong defense, it was essential for all parties involved to actively cooperate and share information.

Dr. Saawadi will also talk about the Grove School’s National Science Foundation grants and their involvement with the Next Generation Internet program, which focuses on security, resilience, and the ability to accommodate massive new applications including virtual reality, augmented reality, mobile edge computing, AI, internet of things, blockchain and more.

Our Focus:

We believe that every student should have an opportunity to learn from world-class faculty, participate in a structured internship program and build a future for themselves. We also realize that for many students, college presents challenges - financial and otherwise. Scholarships provide students with the ability to make education their priority and to build upon the legacy of a City College education. We are grateful for your partnership in this extraordinary mission of sustaining access to excellence on our campus.
