Makerspaces

Introduction

A space with open access to resources and equipment. Collaborators can use most equipment directly after completion of a short training. These spaces are community focused, and in some cases, community run spaces, with a goal of creating inviting atmospheres with peer to peer learning. These spaces are essential for encouraging participation by early and novice users. Some makerspaces may also have fabrication and innovation services for the community and affiliates.
