Overview
A seminar course on current topics in experimental and theoretical physics, with oral reports by students and faculty (required for Physics majors).
Goals
The goal of this class is to expose the students to different topics in Physics from String Theory and Nuclear Physics to Nanoscience. The students will also learn the skills to present effectively a research project and to communicate their results to a broad audience.
Evaluation
The students will be evaluated on:
- Paper Oral Presentation (effectiveness, clarity, depth)
- Participation In Class Materials
The students will have to review the papers that we will share in class.
