NYCDOE & CUNY Micro-Credential Partnership

MICRO-CREDENTIAL PARTNERSHIP IN MATHEMATICS

In partnership with NYCPS, CUNY is pleased to provide teachers with an opportunity to earn 6 credits of tuition free courses in mathematics content and pedagogy. These 6 credits are part of a 15 credit micro- credential. These courses align with the shift in mathematics as a discoverable, meaningful, and connected collection of big ideas and disciplinary practices. Teachers will be given ample time to explore effective structures for collaboration and collective sensemaking. This micro-credential provides graduate coursework focusing on instructional practice and content.
