Unifying Life Curriculum Guide This curriculum guide summarizes learning goals, NGSS standards met and includes detailed instructions for curriculum implementation. It consists of 14 Fall lessons and 8 Spring lessons. Lessons are designed to help students identify local street trees, group trees based on common ancestry, understand the evolutionary significance of common ancestry and evolutionary constraint, and understand the connection between flowers and fruits
Unifying Life Fall Lesson Resources This zip file includes all worksheets, presentations, sorting cards, and the tree notebook that make up the fourteen lessons of the Fall Unifying Life curriculum. Students will learn to identifycommon street trees, follow and observe their own tree, learn how to group organisms by common ancestry, understand the evolutionary significance of common ancestry and evolutionary constraint, and dissect fruits to understand the role they play in the plant's reproductive system. 
Unifying Life Spring Lesson Resources This zip file includes all worksheets, presentations, and sorting cards that make up the eight lessons of the Spring Unifying Life curriculum. Students will continue following and observingtheir street trees, dissect flowers to understand the role they play in the plant's reproductive system, and continue to learn about grouping, common ancestry and evolutionary constraint
