Vote by Mail Town Hall
Join NYC Votes on June 9 from 6:00 pm -7:00 pm for a virtual youth-led Vote by Mail Town Hall.
The Town Hall will feature a performance by Meera Dasgupta, National Youth Poet Laureate; a youth-centered conversation about absentee voting; and an explanation of how the vote by mail process works.
Our panelists for the evening include:
Tim Hunter, CUNY Graduate and USS Chair
Charlotte Ritz-Jackson, Co-Executive Director of Coalition Z
Navjot Pal Kaur, CUNY Alumnus, Blogger at Kaur Republic, and Voting Rights Activist
The evening will end on a call to action to send in absentee ballots. We will also be providing resources on vote by mail for young people to share with their peers.
