The City College of New York Division of Government, Community and Cultural Affairs is the college's link to political and civic engagement. As public liaison for City College, our office is in constant dialogue with campus administration, public officials, and community associations, businesses and religious organizations.
The Division of Government, Community and Cultural Affairs supports a wide range of programs reflecting the close ties between City College and the world-at-large. We promote a passion for lifelong learning to community youth through the management of grant funded educational programs. Our Office of Events Management ensures the successful execution of community-based and college sponsored events on campus.
The Division of Government, Community and Cultural Affairs also manages the City College Center for the Arts, a beacon of cultural activities for both campus and community groups. From art exhibits on Amsterdam Avenue to concerts and plays at Aaron Davis Hall, we are committed to producing robust, artistic, and vanguard programs for City College and the Harlem community.
