Textbook & Homework Assignments
To gain access to the homework assignments you can do one of the following:
- Mastering Physics with eBook: $115.95 (good for 24 months)
- Mastering Physics without eBook: $68.95 (good for 24 months)
I personally recommend the second option, as it is more economic, and a previous edition of the book would suffice, which you can easily acquire separately for a very low price. You have to create an account on Pearson first, then register for Mastering Physics and when prompted, provide the following Course ID.
The Course ID for the summer semester is kostopoulos81624

Important Disclaimer
- Online lectures will be given via Blackboard Collaborate Ultra. Since this is a new way of teaching courses such as this one, I will ask for your patience and full cooperation, so that the transition from in person learning to distance learning is as smooth as possible. Technical difficulties will arise. We should all be expecting that and deal with it accordingly when it happens.
- You should attend the online lectures, review the necessary material from the book or your notes and solve assigned homework problems timely.
- It will be difficult to understand the new concepts if you fall behind schedule. This is a labor-intensive course and it is a science course, which will require your full attention.
- Make sure you ask questions during our online lectures if some things are not clear to you. Success in this course depends on understanding and not memorization.
