Public Safety
Greetings,
Parking permits from July through June will go on sale starting sometime in May. The costs are as follows:
- Half-Year Day Permit from July to December: $300 (or $350 for those who already have a reserved spot)
- Evening Permits: $150
- Full-Year Permit from July to June: $600 (or $700 for those who already have a reserved spot)
Payment for day parking permits must be made through the Bursar’s queuing system.
The Bursar has established an appointment process for purchasing day parking permits. Faculty and staff must use the queuing system to schedule their appointment. Reserved and evening permit purchasers do not need to make an appointment.
Appointment Details:
- Look for an email in late Spring announcing when appointments will open.
- To make your appointment, visit: https://kiosk.na8.qless.com/kiosk/app/home/227
- Select the Parking Permits for Employees link.
Appointments will be spread out over several days to help reduce long lines. There will be enough appointments to accommodate the available permits, so even if you book later in the period, you will still be able to purchase a day permit.
Important Information:
- One transaction per appointment: If you plan to purchase permits for colleagues or friends, you must make a separate appointment for each one. Cashiers will not process multiple purchases at the window.
- Missed appointments: If you miss your appointment, do not reschedule it on the system. Instead, stop by or contact the Bursar’s Office at (212) 650-8700 for assistance.
What to Bring:
At the time of your appointment, please bring:
- Your valid CCNY ID card.
- The completed parking form: Parking Information Form
The Bursar’s Office does not accept online or mail-in payments for parking. Payments must be made in person with cash, check, or money order made out to The City College of New York. Credit or debit cards are not accepted.
To Pick Up Your Permit:
- Pay at the Bursar's office, then bring your original Bursar receipt to the Public Safety Office, NAC 4/201, Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
- Bring your completed parking application and a valid CCNY ID card.
- If your ID sticker is not current, you need to get an updated sticker from your department or the ID office.
- You need to bring a copy of your vehicle registration and insurance card.
