Front Desk Job Description

The Front Desk worker provides excellent customer service to a diverse student body and faculty both in person, on the telephone, and in writing. We are seeking an individual who is comfortable communicating in a professional and welcoming manner.

Typical responsibilities include greeting students, scheduling tutoring sessions, and providing students with additional information. The ideal candidate will be able to simultaneously manage the traffic flow of both students and tutors, and answer multiple phone lines.

Successful candidates should be able to work seamlessly with our small team and the Front Desk Supervisor to uphold our policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities include completing administrative projects and light upkeep of our center.

Candidates with office experience, the ability to complete a variety of tasks, and flexible availability are preferred. Candidates must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA to be considered and must be able to work 3-5 days/week.
