Professor Nir Krakauer has just received the prestigious Sandi Cooper Award for Outstanding Research for Associate Professors in 2026-2027 from CUNY!
The Sandi Cooper and Jerome Krase Awards are named after two longtime members of the CUNY Academy. Each year they select from among highly qualified, academically impressive associate professors from all CUNY campuses.
Professor Krakauer was recently promoted to full professor with his impressive research productivity. Congratulations!
