The Department of Civil Engineering at The City College of New York (CCNY) is strengthening its global engagement through a new international collaboration with the University of Perugia in Italy.

The Civil Engineering Department Chair Anil Agrawal accepted the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) 2026 George Winter Award on May 1, 2026, at the ASCE Structures Congress in Boston, MA. This award is given to Prof. Agrawal in recognition of his outstanding contributions in both structural engineering and mentoring of high school students in STEM.
