Admission Requirements
For admission into our Masters of Engineering (M.E.) program with matriculation, a successful candidate needs to have a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering with an average GPA of 3.0 in the areas of specialization (such as structures, transportation and Water Resources and Environmental Engineering). However, decision on admission will be based on review of the entire application package. Applicants who don’t meet this requirement may be admitted as non-matriculated and may be allowed to take courses to demonstrate their ability to complete the M.E. requirements successfully. Applicants with non-CE or non-engineering Bachelor’s degree may also apply and may be admitted conditionally contingent upon completing certain prerequisite requirements. However, such candidates are also strongly advised to pursue second undergraduate degree in civil engineering before pursuing M.E. in Civil Engineering.
