Asociaciones Dominicanas, Inc. Collection

Historical Note: The Asociaciones Dominicanas, Inc. was founded and established in 1972 by a group of Dominicans residing in the City of New York and registered under the laws of the State of New York as a not-for-profit civic and social organization. Their mission is to evaluate the socio-economic needs of the Hispanic-American community, in particular that of Dominicans living in New York City. 

Scope and Content Note: The collection consists of the Charter, amended Chapter and By-Laws, and Certificate of Incorporation of Asociaciones Dominicanas, Inc.; photographs, newspaper clippings, and the organization Annual Report for the year 2001.
