This colorful multimedia documentary explores the natural beauty and richness of the coastal province of Samaná in the Dominican Republic known internationally as a resting area for humpback whales and Dolphins. In addition to showing many of the amenable tourist attractions, the video recounts the colonial origins of Samaná Peninsula and the formation of an English speaking local culture which emerged as a result of a mass migration of freed African slaves from the United States during the 19th century.
