Event Details

Shohei Koide, Professor, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Pharmacology, NYU Langone Health, will give a seminar titled, "Synthetic binding proteins for biology and medicine."

ABSTRACT

We now have knowledge and technologies that enable rapid creation of synthetic binding proteins with high potency and exquisite selectivity. Such synthetic binding proteins are uniquely powerful tools for mechanistic and structural studies, and potential therapeutics and diagnostics. I will present our recent studies establishing multiple approaches to targeting intracellular proteins.
