Dr. Joshua Halberstam has published widely in philosophy and is also the author of the novel A Seat at the Table, about a young man growing up in Chassidic New York, and a book of Chassidic tales translated from Yiddish, The Blind Angel. He teaches Jewish philosophy in the Jewish Studies Program at CCNY.
