Dear Members of the City College Community,
On Friday, I accepted the resignation of Dr. Lisa Coico as President of the City College of New York, effective immediately. I named Interim Provost Mary Driscoll as Administrator in Charge, pending the appointment of an Interim President at the October 26 meeting of the City University of New York Board of Trustees. We will also soon launch a national search for a new President.
The City College of New York is a remarkable institution with a rich history and a very promising future. I can assure you that the Board of Trustees and I are focused on the steps necessary to ensure that CCNY continues to serve its students and the people of New York at the highest level. I know the devoted faculty, staff, students and alumni of City College share this goal, and I look forward to working with you.
