Student Admissions, Outcomes, & Other Data
Program DisclosuresDoes the program or institution require students, trainees, and/or staff (faculty) to comply with specific policies or practices related to the institution’s affiliation or purpose? Such policies or practices may include, but are not limited to, admissions, hiring, retention policies, and/or requirements for completion that express mission and values. If yes, provide website link (or content from brochure) where this specific information is presented:

Time to Degree Completion for Students Entering the ProgramIncoming students are now able to complete their coursework in three, rather than four years. This allows students to concentrate on their dissertations in the fourth year. Students are expected to select dissertation mentors by the end of their third year, and must have an approved dissertation proposal prior to applying for internship. Please see the following tables for detailed information about time to completion, program costs, internship match rates, and program attrition. |

Also, please describe or provide a link to program admissions policies that allow students to enter with credit for prior graduate work, and the expected implications for time to completion. Please indicate NA if not applicable: Up to 15 credits can be transferred in from other accredited Master's Programs in Psychology at the discretion of the DCT. Those students who transfer in 15 credits receive a drop in their tuition a full semester earlier and have greater control over the number of courses they take in years 2-4 of the Program. This may indirectly lead to a slightly more rapid graduation date for some of these students. Program Costs Thanks to the remarkably generous contributions of both private donors and alumni, the Clinical Program is able to provide significant financial aid to its admitted students. Especially in the first year in the Program, when tuition is at its highest, the Program will guarantee to cover most, if not all, of your in-state tuition expenses, and will make every effort to provide further assistance if you are an out of state or international student. While financial aid is not guaranteed in subsequent years, we make it a top priority to work with you in providing some combination of stipends, work study, teaching assistantships and, in your later years of the Program, Clinical Fellowships. Tuition aid in years 2-5 of the program is in large part based on financial need, so advanced students interested in financial aid will need to complete a short financial aid form each year. Should you be invited to interview for the Program, please feel free to contact our DCT, Steve Tuber, to discuss your financial aid situation.
