Note: Students may place out of Bio 101/102 either by scoring 4 or 5 on the Biology AP exam, or by scoring better than 70% on the exemption exam (if they have previously taken an equivalent course for which they did not receive credit, for example at a foreign institution). Students wishing to take the exemption exam to place out of Bio 101/102 should contact the Biology department office.
