Earlier, he worked in West Africa and the Sahel supporting political process in the region, as well as on post-conflict stabilization in Somalia and Haiti.

Celebrate the launch of our new joint endeavor, allowing students to earn an MA in the Study of the Americas from CCNY while simultaneously earning a diploma in Urban Sustainability Across the Americas from the United Nations University Institute for Water, Environment and Health (UNU-INWEH). This collaboration is part of a new UNU hub that has been created at CCNY with the focus on Remote Sensing and Sustainable Innovation for Resilient Urban Systems (R-SIRUS). Members of the UNU and CCNY communities will join scholars, students, practitioners, and partners to learn more about the Hub, the M.A. program, and the work ahead.
